A Thought Experiment

George related this gem at the Zend Conference. Someone (let's call him Bob) came up to him, and had this exchange:

Bob: If you were a PHP function.. which function would you be?
George: <unblinking stare of incredulity>
Bob: I am part Native American, so I think I would be apache_terminate_child().
George: <backs away slowly>

Shouldn't that be apache_child_terminate()?

I just relayed it as I heard it. :)

That's a bit like (tipsy) conversation at the Pirate party:

>> What's your favourite PHP function
> func_get_arrrrrgs()?
>>> arrrrrray_walk($thePlank)?

.. yeah.. had to be there, I guess (-:

I guess each() of us are new() at first and eventually we all die(). Well, some of us may exit() prematurely.

In between, we sleep() a lot, require($food), include($people) in our lives and aggregate($belongings).

By the way, one of my ancestors was a pow() before he explode().
